Hi you all!
YCouture, Yale’s fashion organization that I’m on the board as the Director of Technology, hosts a few runway shows a year. Yesterday, YCouture teamed up with STEP and YSEC to host a “trashion show” with everything made from sustainable materials or recycled fabric.
And for the first time ever, I designed and made pieces! Three of my super gorgeous friends wore my three dresses – all from bed sheets, pillowcases, and curtains found at the nearby Salvation Army.
The event was held in my residential college’s dining hall. Isn’t Davenport super gorgeous?

It’s been a while. Yale life has been crazy, amazing, and beautiful. I’ve struggled with various issues but I’ve found an activity I absolutely adore through the Yale Daily News; I’ve been exploring my passions through YCouture; and I’ve been making wonderful friends.
I can’t believe that there are only three weeks left of freshman year!!!!
