Hi you all!
This post may be a bit overdue, since I’m already finished with freshman year, but I figured I could give you a tour of my dorm room :) Just a sneak peek into my life, and hopefully I can provide some advice for incoming college students!
After moving the furniture considerably (it was quite challenging to walk around with the original layout) and learning to keep my room neat, I really enjoyed my “Princess Suite” single second semester. I was super fortunate to be placed into this gorgeous suite (no pictures unfortunately – supreme messiness after Spring Fling) with a two-story common room and skylights. It was supposedly the best freshman housing at Yale.
My view right when I walk in. I went with a pink, white, and navy theme.
Comforter – Ralph Lauren, sheets and pillows – Tommy Hilfiger, navy throw blanket – Target. (The bright pink boxes were from this shelving unit I bought that totally collapsed. I wasn’t a huge fan of the color, but they were quite useful for storing things!)

Large shelving unit – not super pretty, but quite useful.

View from my bed:
Closet – I had a lot of storage stuff above, but had already moved it out by the time I took this picture.

Yale banner, Class of 2014 handkerchief, and provided shelving:
Room with a view?
Yeah, packing was fun… not! I had way too much stuff. Did I mention I lived on the fourth floor? My parents were not thrilled.
FLASHBACKS
Hope you enjoyed the room tour!
Hearts,
LBP

Adorable! And how lucky to get a single your frosh year. Makes me really miss college!! I love your pink and navy theme too.
I've been reading your blog for 2ish years, and I'll actually be an incoming freshman at Yale this August! Your dorm pictures have rendered me even more anxious to find out residential colleges/roommates (who knew that was even possible?)
Boola boola :)

I like that you changed the layout. Smart!
I think I have the same RL comforter on my bed at my mom's (is it seersucker?). Cute!
