Mudrooms

It seems that New Haven has had so much rain lately!

Currently I leave my rain gear (I’m so glad I recently replaced my umbrella) right outside our suite, but I hope one day I will have a darling mudroom to store all my raincoats, umbrellas, and rainboots.

I find mudrooms so rustic and full of charm!

Oh, I just adore these fabric covered seat cushions!

The totebags are also lovely.

The rug adds such a gorgeous effect!

Yesterday, I had one of my favorite days at Yale. The day before was the last day of classes, and I was inducted into the YDN (for the third time!) this time for photo!!

The photo editors and some of the other inductees including Joy, who reads my blog! (I’m in the toga – I had to write and recite an ode to the photo desk and four haikus for my editors.)

Saturday consisted of modeling a preppy outfit for the Yale Alumni Magazine, searching Walgreens and Rite-Aid for candy cane Hershey’s kisses with the roomie, eating Davenport College Holiday Dinner, acting in an annual Holiday play as Child IV, and dancing with a great group of friends at Sophomore Ball :)

Roomie and I in front of Davenport’s holiday tree! Isn’t she the most gorgeous ever?

Bestie who inspired the chambray post :)

It was a great last day of going out, and now I’m ready to settle down for the next two weeks to write my papers and prepare for my finals.
